Mellow performs original reggae rock. A non-stop barrage of catchy blended clever hooks, rhymes, and grooves. Built on a rock-solid foundation of reggae, punk, hip hop, and funk influences, the band creates a new and unique blend of eclectic original music. The band formed on the North Shore of Boston, MA in 2020 by cousins Gage and Zack, who’ve been playing together since they were teens, when they took a road trip to Nashville and started writing their first original songs. The duo takes the “work hard play hard” lifestyle to a whole new level and illustrate their unapologetic love for good vibes and good times through their music. Mellow shows no signs of sleeping — or stopping.
